50 things to do in Madrid

With something for everyone, from the touristy to the traditional, a list of must-do’s whilst your in Madrid.

Food and Drink:

  1. Grab a coffee at ‘Café del Art’
  2. Sit down for Tapas and a Sangría
  3. Try the ‘Bocadillo de Calamares’ at ‘El Brilliante’
  4. Go to a Rooftop bar
  5. Head over to Lavapiés for a curry
  6. Stop off at ‘Mercado de San Miguel’ – grab some wine and tapas
  7. Try the churros at ‘San Gines’, the oldest churro cafe is Madrid (it opened in 1894!)
  8. Try the best Tortilla in Madrid at ‘Casa Dani’
  9. Go for drinks and tapas on ‘Calle Cava Baja’
  10. Grab a drink at Sala Equis – a former adult film cinema
  11. Head to one of the many ‘Mercado’s’ for fresh fruit and veg

  18. Rent a scooter and tour Madrid
  19. Sit in any square and listen to people play instruments and sing
