By Ezmee Wyatt, University of Melbourne, Australia I have now been home for just over a month, and as I start to prepare for my final year at Manchester, I thought now would be a good time to reflect on my experience of being a student at the University of Melbourne (and share some tips / insight).

A Tasmanian travel guide
By Ezmee Wyatt, University of Melbourne, Australia Visiting Tasmania, a perhaps underrated destination, was one of the highlights of my year in Australia. Indeed, if you like hiking or more nature-orientated holidays, it is a must see – especially if you’re in Melbourne, as it is super connected so the flights / ferries can be really affordable. How to spend a four-month summer in Australia

As a whole, I would say that Australia has a much greater focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship than the UK – many of the people here seem to really care about their country and want to preserve it. Because of this, making sustainable choices is easy and here are a few of the easiest!

A trip along Great Ocean Road
By Ezmee Wyatt, University of Melbourne, Australia One of the most popular things to do around Melbourne is a road trip along Great Ocean Road. Six of my friends and I decided to visit for a long weekend (although you could easily take a week) and we had an amazing time! Here is a list of what we got up to, so future visitors have some ideas of where to start.

My experience of housing in Melbourne
By Ezmee Wyatt, University of Melbourne, Australia This is my first blog post after being in Melbourne for just over 2 months. I arrived on the 8th of July after a 24-hour flight, and felt ready to embark on this adventure. It has been such a whirlwind of experiences; I have only now found time to sit down and begin to reflect.
