Sharing about food and my favorite restaurants in Singapore
Singapore got a wide variety of food and I’ve found quite a few stalls and restaurants I like.
NUS got quit a few canteens and the one in Utown and PGP are the ones I like the most, because PGP is the closest to where I stay and the canteens in Utown have Chinese a wide range of food to choose from, like Hainan chicken rice, steak, Korean food, etc. Also, if you have a lecture in Utown, the canteen can be very convenient.
My personal favorite is the Hainan Chicken rice in PGP’s canteen, and the Korean food in Utown.

Beside NUS’s canteen, Singapore also has lots of good restaurants, here are some recommendation of my favorite restaurants~

1. SONG FA bak kut teh -one of my favorite place to eat out, with free soup refill for their bak kut teh. I think a set meal is fine for one, if you are going with your friend, the vegetables there are also worth trying.
2. Ya Kun Kaya Toast – serving traditional Singaporean breakfast, I find it okay if you have it once a week, but it’s not something I want to eat everyday, I find the toast too sweet for me, but the rest are really nice. Remember to put black pepper and soy sauce in the egg to try traditional way of eating Singaporean breakfast.
3. JUMBO Seafood – I love the black pepper crab, it taste really nice, but you might need to make a reservation before going, as they are really full most of the time.
4. Lau Pa Sat – it’s a night market in Singapore quite famous for its snack and foods, I think it’s worth a try if you are around the city center.
5. Mr Durian – For those who love durians, it’s very worth going, they got a wide variety of different durians, which taste really nice.
These just a few I can come up with on top of my head, there are definitely more delicious food than what I have got here, hope you guys find your favorite food in Singapore as well!
