my trip to bali <3

I went on an amazing trip with my friends to Bali, Indonesia in December 2025. It’s around a 5-hour flight from Hong Kong and one of the cheapest destinations in South East Asia!

Our first half was spent in Uluwatu, and second half we spent it in Canggu (the more crowded and touristy area).

Amazing beaches

Nyang Nyang Beach

Tasty food

Breathtaking sunsets

Other places we recommend!

Uluwatu Temple
Kanto Lampo Waterfalls
Blue Lagoon

Villas in Bali are cheap, so if you’re going with a group of friends, the final cost per person is quite little (we paid US$100 pp for 6 nights in total)

Some tips if you’re going to Bali:

  • Bring mosquito spray! There’s a lot of mosquitoes flying around
  • Try hopping on the Grab bikes! They definitely look scary at first but you’ll find it so fun by the end; it’s also one of the main modes of transport for tourists
  • Try to find hidden gems. As a very touristy destination, many places tailor their menu to tourists, so try a little harder to discover where locals go!
  • Be careful with some beaches, some of them are only swimmable if you’re a professional surfer (there’s big and dangerous waves)
  • Last but not least, have fun!
