Golden Temple

This is a really lovely small restaurant. The curries are fab and the portions are really good. Medium range price wise, but service is lovely and if you can get it, the window seat is a really fun cushioned seating area.

Bagels and beans

This is a slightly cheaper place. It’s a chain of cafes that does a big variety of largely vegetarian bagels. Also lots of fun drinks. Great for an easy quick lunch.

Bakhuis

This is a gorgeous independent bakery just off the Amstel. The food is inexpensive and they do amazing coffees as well. Would recommend the cheesy croissants specifically.

Bar Botanique

This is a more expensive restaurant. The interior is gorgeous, lots of plants. The food is really special and they also do a big range of drinks.

Food Hallen

Food hallen is a food court. Lots of street food places, with seating in the middle as well as a bar. It isn’t too expensive and it’s good for larger groups with varied food preferences. It can get very busy.

Wok to Walk

This is a very cheap quick option when on the go. The food is amazing though, and can be personalised to your preferences.

FEBO

FEBO gets a special mention as a great late night snack. Especially the easy access foods from the vending machine style shelves. They also have a decent amount of vegetarian options for a fast food place.
