Johor Bahru – Singaporeans’ Favourite Getaway
By Thatthep Sae-Lim. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Back in early September, I got the chance to be back in Singapore again. The main reason for my visit was to attend a concert with my friends. However, this blog will not be about the concert or Singapore itself, but about my first time to Johor Bahru.

Japan…. once again!
By Thatthep Sae-Lim. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Every time I go to Japan, I always find myself thinking of going back again. I’ve never acted on this impulsivity of just booking another Japan trip right after one another, but I did it this time around. To me, Japan is a country I can visit a million times and still never get bored of. Unlike my previous Japan trip, it was late spring and not winter. So, the weather was just nice to walk around.

Favourite places in Singapore
By Thatthep Sae-Lim. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Being back in Singapore again for this exchange year brought back so many memories of when I lived there throughout secondary school. I was able to go to many of my favourite places with my best friends again during my exchange and I will be sharing them in this blog. As someone who had lived accumulatively six years in Singapore, I found myself visiting Marina Bay and Sentosa a lot. If you ever googled where to go in Singapore, these two places are definitely on the list.

I first visited Koh Samui in December 2020 and have always wanted to go back ever since. Thanks to this study abroad year for bringing me closer to home and allowing me to visit Koh Samui again, in December last year. Based on my experiences being in Koh Samui twice, I can truly…

What to expect – NTU exchange
By Thatthep Sae-Lim. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Now that my exchange had ended for a few months, I finally have the time to sit and reflect on my experiences at NTU. Although this was not my first time living in Singapore, I have definitely learnt a lot from this experience, simply because of the significant differences of how things are at NTU compared to UOM.

Winter in Japan
By Thatthep Sae-Lim, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Since I was doing my exchange in Singapore, it’s given me the opportunity to frequently travel with my mom, who live in Thailand. Since I’ve always been obsessed with Japan and I was really longing to spend some times in a cold climate after living in Singapore for awhile, we decided to go to Japan for two weeks in January.
